Foyle Meats Lamb Carcase Competition 2010

The Annual Foyle Meats Spring Lamb Carcase Competition was won by Mr. Michael Burke. This batch of four quality spring lambs (three E3 grade lambs and one U3 grade lamb) is part of his first flock of spring lambs reared on his home farm near Claudy.  Mr. Michael Burke is pictured receiving a cheque for £500, plus a crystal trophy from Foyle Meats Lamb Commercial Manager, Roger McCracken.  Second place was shared by Mr. Jim Allen of Castlederg and Mr. Alistair Crawford of Newtownstewart.
